Ein Farah is located in the beautiful Nachal Pratt National Park at the beginning of the Judean Desert. There is a magnificent, very large canyon with running springs of water, small pools for the kids that include fish, picnic areas, and the inviting aroma of eucalyptus trees. We will hike through a section of Wadi Kelt, along the fish-filled Kelet River. We will pass caves that were used by the Jews to hide from the ancient Romans and will end at Ein Mabuah, a bubbling spring that displays an interesting phenomenon: the whole pool sinks down into the ground and disappears, and then comes back after about 30 seconds. One has to be lucky to see this happen, as it sometimes occurs every five minutes and sometimes every few days!

Minimum age: 8 years old

Please note this is not a round-trip hike. If you are driving your car there, you might need a taxi to return to the starting point. If you have a driver, he will be able to pick you up at the endpoint.

Estimated time: 3 ½ - 6 ½ hours.
