Havot's Cliff

Rappelling and Rock Climbing at the "Cliff of the Fathers" - Gush Etzion Cliff of the Fathers is a charming cliff in an excellent location - 20 minutes from Jerusalem, close to the community of "Neve Daniel". This beautiful cliff allows us to enjoy the exhilaration of rappelling (abseiling), and a slightly more challenging activity of rock climbing in a beautiful site. It is especially suitable for families with small children who want to spend quality time engulfed in the beauty of Israeli nature. The access to the cliff is very easy, having a dirt road suitable for all vehicle types, that takes you to a distance of approximately 60 meters (200 feet) from the cliff, making it an amazing option from young to old. We will meet you at the entrance of Neve Daniel, and together we will drive to the cliff. Here we get our first view of this beautiful spot and our guide will provide each of us with personal equipment (helmet, harness, carabiner, and belay device). Our guide will then build our rappelling station, and provide an explanation and demonstration of the technique for cliff rappelling. After we have all finished our first rappel, we recommend that we do it again (there is a short and convenient path that connects the bottom and top of the cliff). It is so much fun for all the family. When we have finished rappelling, our guide will build a 'top rope' or climbing station - provide an explanation and demonstration and then it's your turn. One after the other you will experience natural rock climbing, you can even secure each other under the supervision of the guide. Climb again and again until you have used up all of your energy - then, full of experience and the feeling of how strong and capable we are, - we say goodbye to your guide until the next time :) Minimum age: 3 years old.
