Nahal Qumran

We begin our trek climbing up and into the desert canyon, slowly leaving the modern world behind. After reaching close to the top of the canyon, we will have our first rappel. With amazing views over the Dead Sea, we follow the dry river bed rappelling down six waterfalls until we arrive back at our starting point.A dynamic canyoning adventure that can be adapted to fit your needs. We can do a shorter version including 3 rappels!There are several ancient archeological sites and ruins in the area including Dir al Katar, Garznik, and HaRikyana, as well as the partially reconstructed ancient Qumran site.Estimated Time: 4-6 hours.
