Shilat Cliff Advanced Rock Climbing

If you are looking for a full day adventure of rock climbing in Central Israel then Shilat Cliff is definitely is the place for you! A beautiful cliff in the middle of the Ben Shemen Forest, this unique site lies just 30 minutes away from both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Shilat Cliff is famous among professional rock climbers here in Israel not only for its amazing location but for the variety of climbing levels it hosts as well. There are rock climbing routes starting from rank beginner to very advanced and everything in between.

 Our adventure will begin with a short hike through the Ben Shemen Forest until we reach the top of a huge cliff with vast panoramic views of the Binyamin mountains. As you hike through this spectacular forest your senses will be tantalized; you will smell the scent of the lush pine trees and see the site of a picturesque stream situated at the bottom of the cliff. Once you reach the top of the mountain, your guide will set up the ropes and you will rappel off the side of the cliff towards the bottom. After we get to the bottom, that’s when the serious excitement begins! We will warm up with top-rope rock climbing on one of the easier routes. Then according to your level. We slowly climb up the ranks in routes and level of difficulty making our way the more advanced route, until you've reached your limit!
