Yonim Cliff (R+RC)

This dramatic and beautiful site is a very popular climbing site for professional rock climbers here in Israel. Yet, there is a variety of rock climbing routes for every level climber from beginners to advanced and even extreme with every level in between. This gorgeous adventure starts with a five-minute hike that brings us to a large and thrilling vertical cave. We will rappel 25 meters (over 80 feet) down through the cool shade of the cave. After we reach the floor of the cave we will exit through a spacious, bright outlet at the base of an enormous cliff. At this point, we will start climbing the easy routes and slowly work our way up level after level until you are maxed out! Each person can climb as high as s/he feels comfortable, and then get belayed back down again. You can do the rappelling and rock climbing multiple times if you want. Afterwards, we take a short hike back to where we started, all the while enjoying the truly stunning panoramic view.Estimated time: 3 ½ to 6 hours.All the rope activities are optional. No experience is necessary.
